  1. Wow that's just uncanny timing. I finished reading Eleanor and Park last weekend, and loved it so much I started making a list of similar books to recommend on my blog!! And none of my books are the ones you have listed. I have reserved Attachments at my library. Thanks for the other recommendations. I'll get around to posting my list one of these days .... still dragging my posting feet after A to Z ended.

  2. One of the hardest things for me to do is narrow down my favorite books. Some of mine:

    Beach Music by Pat Conroy
Outer Banks by Anne River Siddons
A Prayer for Owen Meaney by John Irving
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
    Trinity by Leon Uris
    Forever by Judy Blume
    Ordinary People by Judith Guest
    Whit by Iain Banks
    Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
    The Red Tent Anita Diamant
Song of Solomon by Toni Morrison
Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell
    The Chosen by Chaim Potok
The Fault in our Stars by John Green
The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver

  3. I've read most of these but need to add some to my reading list. Separate Beds and Paradise are both news ones I hadn't heard of before.

  4. I love your list. I have way too many to narrow down my favorites, but I'm currently reading P.S. I Love You and The Help. :)

  5. I'm very glad that Harry Potter made this list, otherwise we couldn't be friends anymore. :)
HP is definitely on my list, too. Gone With the Wind is my all time FAVORITE. I also love To Kill a Mockingbird, The Count of Monte Cristo, The World According to Garp and Memoirs of a Geisha.
