so there are people in this world who don't know who napoleon bonaparte is

August 26, 2013

which should be the focal point of this post, but i'm more concerned (because i am a writer who's got a crazy, stupid and obsessive love of film) with the fact that more people don't know who richard burton is.

the other day, i made up a film list for like two people. and the more i converse with the staff at pappadeaux's, the more shocked and appalled i am at their lack of knowledge of the awesomeness of the cinematic realm.

so here, for you people (and please don't tell me that you've not seen these movies... if there are some on here that you've not seen, go to itunes, or maybe redbox and see if you can rent them or whatever... but my heart is already quite bruised at the thought that there are films here--even one--that has escaped someone's attention) here is a list of the films i've loved watching:

  1. I've seen quite a few of these but I'm going to have to look into renting some of the others. :-) Thanks for the list!

  2. What an awesome list! Several of my loves are on here! Boondock Saints is a regular watch. Makes me want to have a movie marathon on a rainy day.... if it would only do that here in Texas :/ What do you think about The Saint with Val Kilmer and Elisabeth Shoe?

  3. You have some pretty awesome movies on this list!

  4. Great list! The ones I haven't seen, I will put on my "to see" list.
