favorite song.

okay, so choosing a favorite song -- one from the millions in existence -- is like pulling teeth without using dental instruments. do i say it's the one i've loved longer than any other, even though i don't love everything about it? do i say it's the one that tells the best story? or the one that inspires a bit of hope and happiness? or the one upon which i am stuck for the moment and, therefore, keep hitting repeat?

since there's a favorite-song-at-this-time-last-year day, i'm choosing the last option. it makes things easy. and i like easy. a lot.
