inquiring minds want to know

so lacie gave me that award, right? because she'd gotten one, and she was sharing the love. one of the stipulations of having received the thing is that you have to tell your readers a handful of things about you. well, on lacie's page, someone had posed questions, which she'd answered. i figured that made the telling easier, so i snatched those questions as well as my award.

but it occurred to me that since lacie gave me the thing, i should let her ask the questions.

before i get to those, though, let me tell you a little bit about her. lacie's in her twenties and is married with one little boy. she lives way up north in montana. in blizzard country, folks. i'm thinking it takes a certain kind of strength to do that. she's also pretty crafty. just the other day, she made some pretty cute little bowls out of cds. CDs! i never would've thought of that. she's got all kinds of cool craft ideas on her bloggy, creative attempts. lacie's a pretty cool chick. i think you'd like her.

she was pretty excited at the prospect of interviewing lil ole me. so here're the ten questions she posed. hopefully my answers won't disappoint. :]

if you had a giant yacht what would you name it? amphitrite.

is it ok to wear socks with sandals or to bed? never with sandals. NEVER. only to bed when it's freezing cold outside (and yes, it can be freezing cold in southeast texas. no, we don't handle it well).

if the president was calling you with an emergency with what would he need your help? i don't know why the president would be calling me. that's a crazy question. (but this is what i like about you, m'dear.) grammatical prowess or tips on getting texans to like him? i could help with the first. but not so much with the second.

if you had a super power what would you want it to be? i'd wanna be like dr. x.

what can you hear right now? the traffic on the freeway, fake surf sounds coming from my sleep machine, my fingernails on the keys, the ceiling fan, the hum (for lack of a better word) of my tivo (no, it's not on).

would you rather be way too hot or way too cold? too hot. they make these things called swimming pools and ice cream. there's only so many articles of clothing you could heap on a body.

what would your dream vacation be? three months in europe.

if you had an extra hundred bucks with which to be selfish what would you get? a haircut, pedicure and facial or new lingerie or i'd save it for spending money when i do go to europe, which i'm doing in a month or so, but only for two weeks.

would you ever sky dive? hell no.
